S – The Fox, The Wolf, And The Exposure To Stressors

Aesop created a fable called "The Fox and the Lion".

One day a fox strolling through the woods spotted a lion, a creature she has never seen before. She froze with terror before slowly creeping away.

The next day, she saw the lion again, yet got closer before hiding in a bush and later escaping.

By the third day, the fox found the courage to walk towards the lion to say hello, and both became best of friends.

Familiarity breeds indifference––expect anxiety to abate after continual exposure to stressors.
